Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 26, 2026

This policy is written for the current Vincra product: account-based trading journaling, analytics, Pro insights, subscriptions, and product usage analytics.

1. Who we are

Vincra is operated by a sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you use Vincra.

This policy applies to the Vincra website, account features, trading journal, analytics, insights, scorecard, billing flows, and related support interactions.

2. Information we collect

We collect account information such as your email address, authentication identifiers, profile settings, subscription status, and account activity needed to operate your account.

We collect product data you choose to enter, including trading journal entries, P&L values, trade counts, goals, tags, notes, scorecard responses, and related review inputs.

We generate analytics-derived insights from your product data, including performance analytics, behavioural patterns, session reads, process cues, and other review outputs shown in the product.

We collect technical and usage data such as device and browser information, pages viewed, referrers, approximate location derived from network information, error events, and interaction events.

3. Payments and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment method details, billing address, tax information, transaction records, fraud signals, and other billing information under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. We may store Stripe customer identifiers, subscription status, billing cycle, plan information, and payment-related metadata needed to manage access.

4. Service providers

We use Supabase for authentication, database storage, and related backend services. Data stored in Supabase may include account information, trading journal data, goals, tags, notes, subscription metadata, and analytics outputs.

We use Stripe for payment processing and subscription management. We use Vercel and related hosting infrastructure to run the website and product. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate product usage and site performance.

Service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where they or their infrastructure operate.

5. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, operate the trading journal, calculate analytics, provide insights, manage subscriptions, process support requests, prevent abuse, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your trading journal data to provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or broker-directed trading decisions.

6. How we share information

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate Vincra, including hosting, authentication, database, analytics, billing, fraud prevention, and support workflows.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, security investigation, protection of rights, business transfer, or to enforce our Terms of Service.

7. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Vincra may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect sessions, measure usage, and operate the product.

Vercel Analytics may collect privacy-conscious usage signals, such as pages viewed and performance information, to help us understand and improve the product.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the product, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

You may request deletion of your account and associated product data. Some records may be retained where required for billing, tax, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for an early-stage digital product, including reputable infrastructure providers, authentication controls, and restricted access to operational systems.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for using a strong password, protecting account access, and keeping your devices secure.

10. International users

If you use Vincra outside Canada, your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. These locations may have privacy laws different from those where you live.

By using Vincra, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions, subject to this Privacy Policy and the safeguards used by our service providers.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of certain personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We will respond to privacy requests in a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, or technical requirements.

12. Children

Vincra is not intended for children or for anyone who cannot legally enter into the Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as Vincra changes. If the changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the product or website.

Questions or requests about privacy can be sent to privacy@vincra.com.
